Job satisfaction is a key factor influencing employee performance and productivity, shaped partly by compensation and the work environment. This study examines the effect of compensation and work environment on employee job satisfaction at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bekasi Regency. A quantitative statistical method was used, with data collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation study. The population comprised 78 employees in the service division, and the entire population was used as the sample (saturated sampling). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 through data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination test. The results show that compensation partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 5.255 > t-table 1.992; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), and work environment partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 3.078 > t-table 1.992; sig. = 0.003 < 0.05). Simultaneously, compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (F = 47.478 > F-table 3.12; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), explaining 55.9% of the variance in job satisfaction.
