Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition in the medical device distribution industry compels companies to consistently maintain employee performance to ensure sales targets are met sustainably. At PT. Setia Manggala Abadi in West Jakarta, indications of compensation disparities across job levels were identified, which are suspected of diminishing employee motivation and performance. This study aims to analyze the partial effects of Work Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance, as well as their simultaneous effect on Employee Performance at PT. Setia Manggala Abadi, West Jakarta. A quantitative causal approach was employed, utilizing a saturated sampling technique involving all 40 company employees as respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The results indicate that Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance t-value of 2.221, significance of 0.033, and Compensation also has a positive and significant effect t-value of 5.861, significance of 0.000. Furthermore, the two variables simultaneously exert a significant influence F-value of 76.499, significance of 0.000, with an Adjusted R-Square coefficient of determination of 0.795.
