Abstract

This study examines the effects of Polychronicity and time management on employee performance at PT Octa Kharisma Sejati (PT OKS), an iron and steel distributor. An associative quantitative approach was employed with a census of 30 employees. Likert-scale questionnaire data were analyzed using SPSS 26 through validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, linearity, simple and multiple regression, t-tests, an F-test, and coefficients of determination. Multiple regression showed a positive but nonsignificant coefficient for Polychronicity (B = 0.063; t = 0.490; p = 0.628), whereas time management had a positive and significant effect (B = 0.690; t = 3.496; p = 0.002). The overall model was significant, F(2,27) = 16.660; p < 0.001, with R² of 0.552 and adjusted R² of 0.519. Although time management scores were not normally distributed, the residual test did not indicate a significant departure from normality. The findings suggest prioritizing work planning, scheduling, and task prioritization while adapting multitasking to job requirements. Generalization is limited by the sample size and single-company setting.
