Abstract

This study examines the effects of leadership and work motivation on organisational commitment among employees of PT Mitra Global Adiniaga in Jakarta. An associative quantitative survey involved all 30 employees through saturated sampling. Five-point Likert questionnaire data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 through validity, reliability, residual normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, linearity, multiple linear regression, t-tests, an F-test, and coefficients of determination. Leadership had a positive but nonsignificant coefficient (B = 0.217; t = 1.363; p = 0.184). Work motivation had a positive and significant coefficient (B = 1.113; t = 3.467; p = 0.002). The overall model was significant, F(2,27) = 58.268; p < 0.001, with R² of 0.812 and adjusted R² of 0.798. These findings suggest strengthening motivation through appreciation, task support, and development opportunities while improving leadership communication. Generalization is limited by the sample size, single-company setting, and self-reported measures. Relationships between the predictors should also be considered when interpreting their partial coefficients.
